This tradition goes back to the original owners – Sam and Shirley – and continues with the three sons who operate it today. The meats are specially prepared and slowed cooked each and every day, using the highest quality ingredients. Our famous soups are made fresh daily from the recipes of a generation ago.
Our on-site Bakery still makes fresh Rye Bread daily using the original sour starter from a half century ago. Our menu includes old world recipes – like Corned Beef and Cabbage – and today's favorites – like fresh salads and Classic Burgers. All menu items are prepared on site daily, including desserts, sauces, home-style soups, bagels, dressings and the hundreds of other delicious items served every day. Last year the owners were featured on KTLA 5 and received the honor of best Jewish deli in Southern California.
